Many live events have gone online this year, but they still need to have a host. In the summer, GGPoker successfully hosted 54 events of the World Series of Poker. Now they have revealed that they will be the hosts of the Battle of Malta poker tournament. Moreover, it will include a $3 million Main Event.
The Battle was originally scheduled for a little earlier in the year at the beginning of October. However, the tournament will be held in November 2020. The Main Event will cost only $550 to compete and will have a guarantee of $3 million. The series will take place on GGPoker between November 1st and 22nd.
Last year, the Battle of Malta sold 4,657 entries, drawing enough players to build a €2.2 million prize pool.

Who are GGPoker?
GGPoker is the flagship of the “Good Game Network”, which started in 2014. This network originally launched in Asia and focused on Chinese and Southeast Asian players, but now it is available worldwide.
Since GGPoker is organizing the event, it will be the same success as the World Series of Poker was back in the summer. This way GGPoker will stand against the competitors of Partypoker who have the WPT and PokerStars with SCOOP and SCOOP.
The Battle of Malta will happen online, but if it has the same spirit of live events, it’s going to be a lot of fun, with thousands of players participating.
